The website, Rozália and Lyra now speak nine languages

Earlier this month, RideComposer moved to nine languages: the app and the user manual spoke English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Greek and Portuguese — both European and Brazilian.

But an instructor discovering RideComposer doesn't start with the app. They land on the website. And the website only spoke French and English.

That's fixed: the website, our assistant Rozália and the Lyra music explorer now speak the same nine languages as the app.

The ridecomposer.com website

The main pages of the website exist in all nine languages: home and pricing, FAQ, contact, roadmap, the MixMeister alternative, the Master Instructor program, the manual, the shop and the legal pages.

• At the top of each page, a 🌐 button shows the current language. It opens a small menu with the other eight.
• If your browser is set to one of these languages, the website takes you there as soon as you arrive. A choice made in the menu is remembered: the website won't send you anywhere else.
• European and Brazilian Portuguese are two separate versions, just like in the app.

The terms and conditions, the privacy policy and the refund policy are translated in full, with nothing summarised. If the versions ever differ, the French version prevails, and each translation says so at the top of the page. The licence agreement can be downloaded as a PDF in all nine languages.

Rozália answers in your language

The chat bubble at the bottom of every page is Rozália, our assistant. She now answers in the language of your question. And when she points you to a page of the website, it's that page in your language.

Her answers still come from the same source: our support articles, written and checked by us. When a question goes beyond what they cover, she doesn't guess: she points you to a support ticket.

Lyra too

Lyra, our free music explorer, follows suit. You start from an artist, explore their constellation of related artists, listen to 30-second previews with an estimate of their power peak, and receive your selection by email.

The interface exists in all nine languages, and the selection email arrives in the language of the page. Lyra keeps its casual tone in every language.

The same caveats as earlier this month

We proofread French and English ourselves. The other seven languages were translated with care, but not proofread by a native speaker.

So if a sentence reads awkwardly in Greek, Dutch or Portuguese, write to us. We'll fix it — that's how these translations will get better.
